innovative business and product development tips?
Dear Namgay for the great question that impacts ALL tourism professionals success.
I would start with these two core business strategies to create innovative products that will grow your bottom line:
1: Survey your existing clients and partners.
— Ask them what they most like to do more of, less of, what worked well, what did not, where else they want to go, etc.
— Often the best strategy is just to improve your existing product and service.
— This can yield more referrals and repeat business which grows your business AND lowers marketing costs.
2: Check out other companies and their products that are winning awards.
— What types of trips or destinations are winning the awards?
— Why are they so high rated? Amenities? Service? Market they serve?
— What aspects of the products can you possible bring into your company?
Bottom line:
— Find out what your client ( and partners) need and want, and give it to them.
I am sure that Anita with Ibex Expeditions talks with their customers ALL the time before they develop their product to find out what they want to do next or go. Then when Ibex develops the product their customers told them they wanted, they can market to the same group and get them coming back again and again. This is why Ibex has had clients come back 8 times or more!
What do you think Namgay and other tourism professionals? What are you doing to create innovative business and product development?

Hi Tim,
I will appreciate your time with our leisure and tourism site through assistance on how we can incorporate great information which will lead to sales?
I have been in this industry quite while but the great challenge is to explore opportunity from clients around the global, sometime you end up providing information without bookings can you help on the subject matter??
Thank you again for your great work and God bless you.
Thanks Emamnuel for your kindness and great questions on how to increase sales conversions.
Usually what prevents a prospect from becoming a client – especially a foreign traveler or travel agent – is they may not yet trust that you are a good, safe and experienced operator….
In order to convert more prospects into sales, you need to communicate “credibility and experience” quickly in all your marketing, especially your website.
On your website you have less then 10 seconds to communicate this, or prospects are gone, usually forever.
If you want a step by step guide to show you exactly how to convert more prospects into sales fast and easy, you need to get my Tourism Marketing Success Online program.
This will give you the tools, support and training, direct from me, that have helped tour operators just like you have sales increases of 20%, 30%, 60% and much more.
Check this course out. Be sure to watch and read the many comments from people just like you who have gotten the course, followed my guidance and are having HUGE increases in sales and profits.
Keep me posted. Thanks for liking and sharing my website and Facebook Fan page with fellow world independent tourism businesses like you.
